We're in Pasadena!!! We arrived Sunday afternoon, checked into our hotel, met a donor Mom (Elizabeth - I'm sure I'll learn more about her tomorrow...)and then we went wandering around Pasadena... (OK, went in search of food!)
We found palm trees in a park! Then we found Colorado Boulevard... The main parade route is down Colorado Boulevard - so, naturally, we found banners about the parade...
And we found a tree... OK, Laura found a tree. You won't see a LOT of Laura - she likes working behind the scenes, so she'll be on the other end of the camera relatively often... I don't think she realized how often she might find herself laying on her back in the grass, or wood chips, or on the pavement - but whatever...
I'll try to speak up more in the future, my little camera has limited audio capabilities!!! Laura does have a small part in this video - right at the beginning. This is the second take - in the first take, I may have claimed that I was the one who found the tree in question. Chicks - gotta love 'em...
Tomorrow, in the early afternoon, I get to attend the Family Circle Rose Dedication Ceremonies... I get to dedicate 14 roses to Chloe for Melissa... I get to dedicate a rose to Chase for Buck, Nancy, Lon, Trevor & Brandon... And I get to dedicate a rose to Kari... Most of you who know me, know how I'm looking forward to that - in the meanwhile - I'M IN PASADENA!!!
