Ashley is a beautiful girl who is living with chronic life threatening liver disease called biliary atresia. Since Ashley’s birth she has spent numerous nights and days in and out of the hospital in the hopes that those visits will prolong her need for a liver transplant. Biliary atresia is the number one cause for children under the age of two to require a liver transplant. The disease has no known cause or cure; a liver transplant is their only hope.
Ashley's liver disease is now progressing to the point that she will need a liver transplant in the very near future. Her doctors feel that she will need a liver transplant within the next 3 years. Therefore, her family created this beautiful website to raise the necessary funds to cover a liver transplant and to raise awareness of organ donation and biliary atresia.
