Her last paragraph ends with “…but if you want to know what love to the infinity squared looks like…” By that time I had already gone through a couple of Kleenex…
TC was an organ procurement transplant coordinator – she took a while off to spend more time with the family and her little Pooter, but now she’s back in the biz as a kidney transplant coordinator and I’m glad because I think she’s got the heart and passion for transplant – for helping people get another crack at life. She writes a beautiful blog called donorcycle. She’s referenced a number of our Revive Hope posts, and I’ve commented on a number of her posts – and that’s probably how we struck up an electronic relationship – until February, when she came all the way out from New Jersey and I was able to give her a hug… She climbed the Hancock with me.
I’m somewhat accustomed to making people cry. Oh, it’s intentional… I try to remind them how precious life is, and what they mean to me – sometimes things can get a little sloppy-wet… Often I tell them what Kari and her family and friends mean to me – then things get even more emotional – for me too…
TC turned the tables on me and wrote a post that is one of the most beautiful and meaningful posts in my life…
Her post on donorcycle is titled Legacy…
The title of my post is in the last few lines of her post – and she put into one line exactly how I feel.
Thanks, TC… You’ve got a permanent spot in my heart…
